What is it?

KM Camp Philly 2011 is the inaugural "unconference" for the knowledge management community of Philadelphia. it is being organized by The Knowledge Management Group of Philadelphia, which has organized  the region's community since 1999 providing expertise sharing, networking, and mew perspectives across a variety of topics and subject matter domains -- all subsumed under the term "Knowledge management."

Now, in 2011, we are borrowing the BarCamp format to allow the community to reintroduce itself to itself and to explore some of the newer notions that have emerged that include parts of the knowledge management orthodoxy, as well as new concepts revolving around social media.

KM Camp Philadelphia will be of, by and for the KM community. we invite everyone to prepare a talk or discussion about a project, and interest, or even to discuss an open-ended question with your peers.

KM Camp Philly 2011 is scheduled to be held on Friday December 2nd, from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at DeVry University in Ft. Wahsington, PA. We will announce more specific registration information as soon as the site and other details are settled.
